CertificadoElectronico is a solution from Bewor Tech designed for B2C commerce, specialized in the issuance of digital certificates. Our technology allows users to manage all kinds of procedures in the Spanish electronic offices 100% online, eliminating the need for travel and saving time on each management.

For this project, my task was to redesign and develop a new website with a more youthful tone, as the previous version had become outdated for the audience they wanted to reach.
For two weeks, I worked together with the team to create a design aligned with the new brand image, ensuring a more appealing experience in accordance with their objectives.

Process

Understanding who our potential clients are

The first step was to understand who our potential clients would be and what we wanted to achieve with the website. To do this, I met with my boss to define the main objective of the project.

After the meeting, I had a clearer vision of how the website should be. These were the key points to consider:

  • Target audience: Users aged between 18 and 32 who need to obtain assistance or carry out a procedure quickly, without having to present themselves physically.

  • Website objective: To sell our various services for obtaining the digital certificate.

  • Tone and style: The website should have a young and friendly approach. Since digital certificates are often perceived as something boring, we wanted to design an experience that was as dynamic and engaging as possible.

Design

Comparison with the old website and optimization

After two weeks of work, we achieved an excellent result, giving the website a complete redesign and aligning it with the new brand identity.

In addition to taking care of the design, I was also responsible for development in WordPress, so I focused on maximizing the website's optimization to improve its ranking on Google. To achieve this, I implemented the following best practices for SEO and performance:

  • Reduce the size of all images and convert them to .webp format.

  • Use systems like lazyload to reduce website loading.

  • Do not create animations with too much code that could slow down the page speed.

Results

Results and metrics

After the launch, we monitored the changes on the website and although at first, we did not notice much change, over time these were the main improvements:

  • 32% increase in website traffic in just 4 months.

  • 8% increase in the visitor/sales ratio of the website.
